On January 29th, 2008, Ahsoka Tano was introduced into the Star Wars universe in the Clone Wars animated series. Since then, January 29th has unofficially become “Ahsoka Tano Day”. For the past few years, the Galaxy’s Edge Discord team has also organized a lightsaber meetup at Galaxy’s Edge (east/WDW), and Ashley Eckstein, voice actor for the character in the animated series, has made guest appearances.
